Registration begins the first of each month for that month’s programs and the first seven days of the following month. Our community is growing and our Children’s programs are in hot demand! HOW TO DRAW ATHLETES IN ACTION
July 13 at 2:00 p.m.
(Ages 8 - 12) Sports fans, come try your hand at drawing athletes in action. Learn from handouts, books, and live models posing for you. We'll do several sketches then bring your favorites to life with color and a background.
FAMILY GAME DAY

For ALL ages! Get your family together for a morning of fun! A variety of games will be available for ALL ages. Included are board games, cards, games on our Wii! Families may bring in their own games if they'd like. Call or register online.
MAKE AND TAKE SCRAPBOOK PAGE

(Ages 8-12) This month's theme is "Family Vacation". Learn the basics of scrapbooking, this activity is ideal for beginners. We provide the materials; you bring your own theme-related pictures. Photographs will be cut/cropped, so make sure you have an extra copy at home. Registration is required.

Online tutor database provides FREE online help to APLD kids. APLD library card holders can click on the Tutor.com logo from home, sign in with your card and pin number then scroll down to the Tutor.com Online Live Help. At the library access Tutor.com directly from the library computer labs. This online live assisted database is available from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

Calling all Pokemon fans. Play the Pokemon trading card game with other Pokemon players. Trade cards with other members to collect more Pokemon and to strenghten your decks. Participants MUST have their own decks and MUST know how to play the Pokemon trading card game. Registration is required for this program.

The Antioch Library Is Looking For Donations
Are Lego program is very popular and many kids have joined our waiting list. We want to go up in numbers but before we can do that we need even more Lego's. If you happen to have some Lego's you would like to donate we would love to give them a home. Contact the Children's Department at 847-395-0874 ext. 234 for further information.
